Indian Overseas Bank was established in 1937. It was nationalised in 1969 so is now government owned. In India it has 3,257 branches and about 2,400 ATMs. It also has branches in 14 overseas locations including in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and several countries in the Middle East. Banking services are available for personal customers, micro businesses, SMEs, corporations, non-resident Indians, and the rural community. The range of products that are available includes savings accounts, current accounts, term deposits, loans, and insurance.
